Adding a Verification Token to Your Podcast's RSS Feed

The quickest way to get verified is to place the Podscan verification token in the description of your latest podcast episode. (You can remove the token once the podcast is claimed.)

To add a verification token to your podcast's RSS feed so that Podscan can verify ownership, you'll need to log into your podcast hosting platform and find the section of the settings where your RSS feed is administered.

Since this is quite different from service to service, here are several help desk links for the most popular hosts.
If your provider isn't listed, reach out to their customer service. They might even be able to add the token to your RSS feed.
If your podcast provider does not allow you to add a verification token, you can temporarily put it into the show description or the description of a previous episode. Podscan will pick up the token anywhere in the feed.
Alternatively, if the platform allows you to set an owner email, you can use that field to supply the token.
